Working Dog

This picture was taken right before Christmas. Bender now has a reliable indication when he makes a find (he flies through the air and hits me with both front feet and then he sits). There is no mistaking when he has found the victim! He is just about 14 months old and is going to be starting human remains detection next. I will wait until he is 18 months old before he takes any of his official evaluations, but I hope to have all his certifications completed by mid-summer. We are starting to do more off lead obedience and he really just loves to engage in activities that stimulate his brain.
